Project of the Month

Each month I will add a craft project that we can try together.  As I work on my project, I will post pictures and tell you what works and what doesn't work for me.  Feel free to post your progress on your project as well.  I am so excited to get started on my project--going shopping!!!  I can't wait to see all of your awesome ideas.

Glam Glitter Tshirts

Supplies needed:
scissors
iron
freezer paper
tshirt or any item you want to glitter
fabric glitter
brushes (foam or small paint)
Simply Screen Foil & Glitter Adhesive
1. Draw your own design on the freezer paper.  Cut out your design--remember you are making a stencil so, what you cut out will be the actual design on your shirt. Cut neatly!
2. Iron the stencil onto your shirt where you want your "Glam Glitter" design.  *Don't forget to be creative here: try-the bottom side of the shirt, the sleeve, or even the back. *Iron another piece of freezer paper onto the back of where your design is to make it more stable while glittering it up.
3. Using a brush, cover entire space inside of stencils with a thin layer of the Simply Screen Foil & Glitter Adhesive.
4. GO TO TOWN WITH THE GLITTER!!! Shake off your excess glitter, and let dry for approximately 2 hours. *Don't forget to heat set your shirt-following the directions on the adhesive.
5. Wallllllaaaaahhh!!! Enjoy your project and be very proud of yourself and how creative you are!!!

Make a fab Halloween (or any holiday) shirt; a shirt to "cheer" for you favorite team (ex. your child's sports team or club), class shirts for all your friends (ex. Seniors Rule!, Class of 2012); monograms; names
For stencil: try designing one on your Cricut
Different Mediums:
Try-hoodies, aprons, canvas shoes, jean pockets, wide headbands
